Ria Hancock
I recently had the joy of a weekend stay in one of Maxine’s accessible motorhomes, and it was so much more than just a trip—it was an experience that reminded me what true freedom feels like. Living with complex health needs, I often have to think carefully about what’s possible when travelling. From the very first conversation, Maxine put me at ease.
She was professional, kind, and deeply thoughtful, taking the time to understand my individual needs and helping me consider things I hadn’t even thought of. That person‑centred approach made all the difference.
The motorhome itself was designed with accessibility at its core, not as an afterthought. It had everything you could need for comfort and independence: two sleeping areas, a fridge, storage, shower, toilet, and full cooking facilities. The space was cleverly laid out to make moving around easy, and the inclusion of a lift meant it was fully wheelchair accessible.
What made the stay truly unforgettable was the setting and the way it allowed me to reconnect with myself. I fell asleep to the sound of the waves and woke up to morning coffee with breathtaking sea views. Thanks to this trip, I now have a collection of photographs that don’t just show where I’ve been, but remind me how I felt: peaceful, joyful, and free.
I wholeheartedly recommend Maxine’s accessible motorhomes to anyone seeking comfort, inclusivity, and unforgettable experiences. This is travel made possible for all.
